Venues
Summer (April-August)We meet at Balbardie Sports Centre, Bathgate on a Wednesday evening from 7pm until 9pm during the summer season (May-September) and shoot various distances, depdending on the upcoming events. We occasionally shoot a half-FITA. The venue accomodates 100 yards easily, and provides a "challenging" combination of wind, rain and fog at times! Winter (September-April)Permanent venueWe meet at St. Kentigern's Academy, Blackburn on Wednesday evenings from 8pm until 9:30pm during the winter months. The hall is bright, warm and spacious, and we typically shoot a half-Portsmouth, but larger and smaller faces are always available. Maps are available here: Multimap and Streetmap Entrance to the hall is to the left of the main building near the entrance to the swimming pool. Temporary venueWe are trialling a new venue in Linlithgow at Linlithgow academy. We meet there on a Friday night from 7:45 until 9:45 during the winter months. This arrangement is currently planned to last until the end of November. If we can increase membership sufficiently to fund the extra cost then this may be extended. |
